The US Chess Championships took place in Saint Louis 29th March to 10th April 2017. Players in men’s section: Caruana, So, Nakamura, Robson, Shankland, Xiong, Kamsky, Onischuk, Naroditsky, Akobian, Zherebukh and Shabalov. Leading players in the women’s Krush, Zatonskih, Paikidze, Abrahamyan, etc.

2017 US Chess Champions Crowned

Wesley So won the title after beating Alexander Onischuk in a tie-break match. Sabina-Francesca Foisor won the women’s event.
